A recent CBRE Update reports the West region of the U.S. remains the most popular with bulk occupiers. Over 127 msf of bulk transacted in 2020 through the end of November, representing nearly 30% of all deals. The Inland Empire (IE) led the country with 47 msf of bulk transacted through November, the most in the U.S. Phoenix and Los Angeles County have also helped the West take the top spot with each signing over 12 msf through November. The Midwest is close behind at nearly 110 msf. Chicago remains the most popular market in the Midwest, transacting nearly 34 msf, 4th highest in the U.S. Indianapolis and Columbus continue to grow its market share for bulk transactions each signing over 14 msf of deals.
