JOE KIDWELL

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – CHIEF REAL ESTATE COUNSEL

Joe Kidwell, joined Xebec in 2020 and serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Real Estate Counsel. Mr. Kidwell is responsible for negotiating and executing acquisitions, dispositions, leases, ground leases, development projects, joint ventures and financing arrangements with respect to Xebec’s real estate development portfolio.

Prior to joining Xebec, Mr. Kidwell practiced law as a partner of Husch Blackwell LLP in Dallas, Texas.  During his nearly 15 years of private practice, he specialized in representing developers, owners and investors in commercial real estate projects of all types and sizes, including development projects for industrial, retail, office and hospitality assets.

Mr. Kidwell attended the Southern Methodist Dedman School of Law, where he served on the SMU Law Review, and Purdue University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (with distinction, Phi Beta Kappa).  Mr. Kidwell is a current member of the State Bar of Texas.
