GRETCHEN KENDRICK
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Gretchen Kendrick is the wife and working partner of Randall R. Kendrick. She is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Xebec, a national leader in the logistics real estate space. She plays a critical role in shaping the company’s business development and operational strategies. In addition to overseeing asset management, leasing, and portfolio development, Mrs. Kendrick leads strategic initiatives that position Xebec for sustained long-term growth and success. Her leadership in business development has been integral to driving the company’s expansion and is central to advancing key projects across the US that secure best-in-class opportunities for the Company and its investors.
In 2021 she headed the Team that helped her husband secure and acquire Sandow Lakes, a 33,000 acre “Mega Site” in the heart of the Texas Triangle. Her efforts in the development of this site, just Northeast of Austin, will foster lasting economic benefits for both the venture and the surrounding Central Texas region.
She heads the Xebec development Team bringing the 3,300-acre Advanced Manufacturing & Logistix Campus (“AMLC”) to life. This world class campus will be home to approximately 35 million square feet of class A advanced manufacturing and logistics buildings upon its completion. It will also provide 10’s of thousands of jobs and economic activity to Central Texas for decades to come.
Gretchen began her career at LA based IDS Real Estate Group, where she became the youngest Senior Vice President in the company’s history. At IDS, she learned the skills to manage all aspects of real estate operations, including securing project entitlements, development, leasing, property management, and construction management for a diverse portfolio of office, industrial, and residential properties.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Kendrick has worked with leading institutional capital providers from pension funds to REITs. During her tenure at IDS, she earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) accreditation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College, which she completed in 1997.
